Wearing perfume just makes you feel elegant and beautiful. There is something about finishing off your outfit with a sweet smelling spray of perfume on your skin. You are topping off the outfit with a sweet smell of success. It is not that the perfume makes you more successful, but it can make you feel more successful. Not everybody could afford perfume in the past and there are still many who can‘t, so perfume is seen as a symbol of status. It is a wonderfully smelling luxury. You love the smell and you loving smelling good. You are ready to conquer anything the world throws at you, because you smell good and you are confident. Confidence is key and if perfume gives you just a little more confidence and joy, then you should not deny yourself that luxury.
What type of scent are you? The scent you choose to wear matters. It matters to your nose and to those around you. Are you a spicy oriental scent or a fresh floral scent? There are tons of perfume scents, which I have devoted a whole other post to. Do you stick to one favorite scent? Have you found your scent and don’t want to change? Sticking to one favorite perfume can be comforting. If you love that scent, why stray? You know who you are and you know your scent. However, it is fun to change things up sometimes, and you can always have your best ladies perfume on hand, well that is if it’s a classic. Sometimes we are forced to change scents, because they no longer make it anymore. Like I said though, sometimes it is fun to change. Wearing a different scent for different occasions, can add spice to your life. Also, depending on the scent, changing up perfumes is probably appropriate as well.

Classic Perfume vs. New Ladies Perfume
What is a classic perfume anyway? Well, a perfume that has been around for about 10 years or longer, would be considered a classic. It is difficult for perfumes to stick around. Many people what the newest and best thing. And of course the designer brands and celebrities want to make a profit as well, so they will introduce new ladies perfumes all the time. And there is nothing wrong with that. If we didn’t have new modern perfumes then life would be pretty boring if we only had like 10 classic perfumes to choose from. Of course, there is nothing wrong with the classics either. They are familiar and are around for a reason. The most beautiful thing is that this world is big enough for a variety of perfumes at the perfume counter.
Is a designer perfume for you or do you not care about the high priced designer brands? What are you paying for anyway? You are mostly paying for the name brand. Most of the inexpensive perfumes smell as good and last as long as the big name designer brands. However, it does come down to your nose and preference of course. It also comes down to whether you want to splurge. Perfume is a luxury anyway, so you might as well buy the one you really want. Perfume also instills confidence and joy in you, as mentioned above, and if a brand name helps, then why not? Don’t you deserve it? You work hard for your money and you should splurge on yourself once in awhile. Besides a perfume bottle can last for up to a year, so it is worth buying that designers top ladies perfume.
Does the perfume bottle and name matter to you? I think the bottle matters. A beautiful bottle is important. It holds the precious liquid inside and it should be held in a beautiful elegant bottle. And of course the darker the bottle the longer the perfume will last, because it is protected from the sun. An intricate bottle sitting on your vanity just makes you feel more glamorous as well. The name is important too. Of course, I cannot resist the famous line though, “Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet?” Yes, of course the perfume will smell just as sweet if it had any other name, but I would not want to wear a perfume called, “Ugly Girl.” So yes, the name is important when buying perfume. The name can bring positive emotions to you everyday, so make sure the name is right for you as well.
Perfume for ladies has been a part of a lady’s beauty routine for centuries. A perfume can entice one’s emotions. A perfume’s scent affects those around you too. It is very important to considered which scent or scents you want to wear at different events throughout your life. When selecting the right perfume for you, the name and the bottle matter. Owning a classic scent and a few new ones may be worth it, after all you are worth it. You work hard and you should enjoy life. Wear a beautiful ladies perfume that deserves you.
